Our Annual Group Camp was held at Manly Dam on 8th and 9th November - a first night of camping for a few of our cubs! Saturday afternoons hike by the cubs along the Dam Circuit Track took a little longer than usual due to a couple of downpours, a detour due to track closure and simulated snake bite first aid scenario. Instead of 7.3 km the cubs hiked over 9km! You would have thought they would have gone to sleep early... Meanwhile back at the site, camp was setup between downpours and the Vennies prepared and cooked dinner. 
There was swimming, canoeing and bonding between the cubs, scouts, venturers, leaders and parent helpers, a campfire and they could even see a fireworks display that was held in Manly.
