Welcome to 1st Frenchs Forest Scout Group. Scouting aims to provide a fun, safe, and inclusive community where youth develop physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills.
Sir Robert Baden-Powell started scouting in 1907 with 21 boys camping on Brown Sea Island – it now has over 26 million members worldwide.
1st Frenchs Forest Scout Group was first established in 1916 and the re-established in 1961 to provide scouting to the Forest area. Located next to Garigal National Park, we run a varied program designed to build self-respect, confidence, leadership and teamwork through fun and adventurous activities.
Scouts is divided into age-based sections, including:
- Cubs (Ages 8 - 11 yrs) meet on Wednesdays at 6:30-8:30pm
- Scouts (Ages 11 - 14 yrs) meet on Thursdays at 7:00-9:00pm
- Venturers (Ages 14 - 17 yrs) meet on Tuesdays at 7:00-9:00 pm
Our Scout hall is located at Lot 7 Utyana Place Frenchs Forest
