Today on World Scout Day we pass on our congratulations to the 491 Adult Members and Supporters of Scouts NSW who have been honoured in the annual Scouts Australia Adult Recognition Awards. The ARAs are announced as part of the observance of World Scout Day, held every year on 1 August.

Awarded for distinguished service to Scouts Australia by an Adult Member in an active Leadership role
Tracey Doman, Assistant Venturer Scout Leader - awarded the Special Service Award - awarded for the successful support, development and management of our new Venturer Section.
Dean Wayne, Adult Helper - awarded the Special Service Award.Awarded to supporters for the for an intense contribution over a period of at least 12 months to the success of a major event or major activity.
